After a career working for some of the largest Unions in the US, I founded Central Oregon Labor Relations (COLR) in February 2015. I wanted to create an organization to help both employees and employers work on labor relations through professional and collaborative processes.
I hold a BA in International Relations from Monmouth College, IL, a Masters in International Studies focusing on trade agreements from University of Oregon and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law.
I have over 15 years of experience working with everyone from large unions, to small, local employee associations, non-profit organizations and governmental agencies. I sincerely do believe I understand and know how to help employers and employees in a represented facility.
It is also my belief that the face and tone of labor relations have changed a lot since I first started working in this field. It is my hope that my experience and knowledge can help both employers and represented employees work together in the face of a rapidly changing labor laws both on a statewide and federal scale.
It is the understanding that the nature of labor relations is distinctively different in the manner of how employees and employers treat and work with each other, that has spurred me to create COLR in order to assist both employers and employees with the labor relation needs.
When not working and assisting folks with their labor relations needs, I can be found enjoying Central Oregon woods, rivers and mountains with my wife, two sons and our black lab, Cody.
Please contact me with any questions or if you would like to schedule an appointment to meet to discuss your labor relation needs. I look forward in working with you.
